Bio

Noah Kahlil always embodied music in some way. Constantly surrounded by the arts through his teens, keeping music at the center of his life required no conscious intention. However, come 2013, music’s presence began to fade and Kahlil began an almost decade long journey to understand himself and rebuild his relationship with music

As of late Kahlil is in a space of clarity having done some inner work and shifting his perspective: process > results.

“I relearned the joy in the experience of making the music with disregard for the results. There’s beauty in the work and I can feel and hear that reflected in the new tunes.”

Kahlil is intentional in his genre-bending approach to music. Always with a tinge of R&B and Pop, he doesn’t find the need to be genre-bound.

“I grew up listening to the Beatles, Duke Ellington, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, the Beach Boys.

, Then as I got older it was Miguel, Frank Ocean, SZA, Tobi Lou, Smino, a bit of the Script and Avril Lavgine

... overall a mixed bag.”

Through much experimentation, Kahlil channels these influences and crafts an authentic and accessible sound unique to him.
